A number of actions could be\nundertaken by a given filter when an email meets the set condition\u2019s\nparameters. For a specific\nemail address you want to block emails from, keep, \u2018matches\nexactly\u2019, as is. By default, the Zimbra filter should be\nactive.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\">Multiple\nconditions can be included in a given filter if required. This can be\ndone by clicking on the, \u2018+\u2019, button for conditions.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><br\/>\n<br\/>\n\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><br\/>\n<br\/>\n\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\">Once\na filter has been created, it can be edited, too.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\">To\nmake the filter become, Active, click on the, \u2018Add\u2019, button. \n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><br\/>\n<br\/>\n\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><br\/>\n<br\/>\n\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><font size=\"4\" style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><b>Other\nMethod: Spam Mail Options<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\">This\npermits users to create block lists and allow lists for email\naddresses. Block lists and allow lists can be used on their own or\ntogether. If either list is empty, the given list is not active.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><br\/>\n<br\/>\n\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><br\/>\n<br\/>\n\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><br\/>\n<br\/>\n\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><font size=\"4\" style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><b>Spam\nMail Options<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><br\/>\n<br\/>\n\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\">The\neasiest way to block spam in Zimbra is to add the email addresses you\nwant to block to the block list in the \u2018Mail\u2019 Preferences\noptions. It can be done as the below example illustrates. \n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><br\/>\n<br\/>\n\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\"><br\/>\n<br\/>\n\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5cm; background: transparent\">In\nthe Mail options, under the, \u2018Spam Mail Options\u2019 heading, email\naddresses to be blocked can be added to the block list. Enter in the\nemail address you want to block from entering your Zimbra Inbox in\nthe textbox below, \u2018Block messages from:\u2019, and click on the,\n\u2018Add\u2019, button.
